Getting it

Which platforms does CyberStorm run on?

Windows x64 today, as a portable zip with no installer. Linux is coming.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. CyberStorm is free. There are no accounts and no subscriptions.

What do I need to run it?

A Windows x64 PC. Unzip the download, keep the folder together and run CyberStorm.exe. See how to run it.

What license is it under, and where is the source?

The GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. Every release ships its complete source, and the repositories are on GitHub. The CyberStorm name and logo are marks of OutLandishly Crafted and are not covered by the GPL.

Using it

Can it open my existing particle files?

Yes. It imports existing particle JSON and Snowstorm files, keeps unknown fields and formatting byte for byte, and exports Bedrock JSON.

What if the app closes before I save?

Autosave runs every 5 to 10 minutes and keeps up to ten rolling recovery snapshots you can restore.

What does CyberStorm not do?
  • It has no installer.
  • It does not ship an AI key or AI credit.
  • Showtime camera clips are for the editor only and are not exported.
  • PerformanceLine reports measurements only. It gives no scores or budgets.
  • The Vibrant Visuals preview is an approximation calibrated against in-game captures.

Cyber AI

Which AI providers does Axe work with?

OpenRouter, a local OpenAI-compatible server (Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp or vLLM), or Anthropic's Claude with your own key or login.

Do I need to pay for AI?

CyberStorm ships no key and no credit. You bring your own. AI Settings lists each model's price per million tokens, context length and capabilities.

Can I undo what Axe changed?

Yes. Every AI edit is undoable, and every AI action is recorded in an action history you can inspect and revert.

Help and legal

How do I report a bug?

Use Report a problem in the app. It builds a local JSON report. Open an issue on GitHub or post in Discord and attach it. F12 opens developer tools.

Where do I get help?

Inside the app, Help has 41 topics and every field has a question-mark button. The Guides on this site are built from those topics. For anything else, ask on Discord. There is no support email.

Is this an official Minecraft tool?

No. CyberStorm is an unofficial fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Mojang Studios, Microsoft, Minecraft, or JannisX11 / Snowstorm.
