Batch Library metadata

Review and apply metadata changes to a selected group of assets.

Choose assets

Ctrl-click toggles Library selection; Shift-click selects a range on the current page. Open Batch to use that selection, Select page, Select all matching, or Clear selection. All matching uses the current filters, including results beyond the visible page.

Review and apply

Tags can be kept, added, removed or replaced. Rating, Favorite and Review status default to Keep. Enable Change tested version, Change family or Change notes to include those text fields; unchecked fields remain unchanged.

Review changes displays exact proposed metadata changes. Apply batch becomes available after review. Editing a field invalidates the review, so review again before applying. Cancel discards the unapplied draft.

A conflicting metadata change is rejected rather than overwritten. Reopen the batch to load current metadata before reviewing again. Shared Undo and Redo operate on committed batches. Batch metadata does not edit the asset source files.
