Compare Library effects

Compare two captured effects or two seeded previews of one effect.

Choose and play

Select one particle effect for two seed variants, or two particle effects, then open Compare. Left seed and Right seed control the respective preview; Preview particles per emitter bounds each emitter. Apply seeds / budget rebuilds both previews at Seek seconds.

Play toggles Pause. Restart returns playback to the start. Enter Seek seconds and click Seek to inspect that time. Drag the preview to orbit both views, scroll to zoom, and use Fit both for shared bounds and scale.

Inspect and export

Root JSON differences selects a differing source path and shows the left and right values. The two source text areas are read-only. Refresh sources reloads the captured Library files.

Export comparison report saves the captured sources, differences, applied settings and runtime snapshot. Playback is silent and samples at 30 ticks per second. Displayed counts and limits describe the comparison preview, not Minecraft measurements. Close disposes the comparison previews without replacing the active effect.
