Showtime camera clips
Capture and animate viewport views for show previews.
Create or edit
Open Showtime tools > Add camera clip, or open properties for an existing camera clip. Camera clips control the editor preview and are omitted from Bedrock export.
Name labels the clip. Start seconds and Clip duration seconds place it in the show. Transition duration seconds sets the camera source length; Source in-point seconds chooses the offset into that transition. Choose a Camera track or New camera track.
Choose views
Camera interpolation offers Hold start view, Linear transition and Smooth transition. Hold uses the start view and hides End view.
Expand Start view or End view to edit Azimuth degrees, Elevation degrees, Distance, Target X/Y/Z, Field of view degrees and perspective/orthographic projection. Numeric fields require explicit values.
Capture start view and Capture end view copy the current viewport camera into the draft. Preview start view and Preview end view display the corresponding draft pose without saving the clip.
Apply, cancel and playback
Apply camera saves the clip through show history. Cancel discards the draft and restores the view present when the dialog opened. Undo restores a committed change.
Opening the dialog pauses show playback and suspends camera following while you edit. Unlock a locked clip or its track/group through Clip actions or Track settings before editing. If the show changes while the dialog is open, reopen it before applying.
Outside camera intervals, the previous viewport view returns. The first enabled camera clip in track order wins overlapping intervals. Showtime tools offers Enable camera follow or Disable camera follow; this preference is saved.
