Library and Community
Search, filter, select and organize available assets.
Find assets
Select a Library section and use its search, type filters and page controls. Community includes the local Community view and the catalog window.
Favorites, Name sorting, collections and advanced filters apply to the Community Library results. Select an asset row before using selection actions.
Filter and organize
Advanced filters include family, tested version, tag, review status, minimum rating, namespace, component, dependency reference, material and texture/UV mode.
Collections group assets. Show in Library applies the selected collection as a filter. Clear the relevant filters when you want broader results.
Monitored folders
Open Folders in the Library toolbar, then Add folder and choose an asset directory. Include subfolders controls whether nested assets are indexed. Monitor folder turns indexing and watching for that root off or on.
Remove from Library removes the monitored root from the index; it does not delete the source folder. Failed changes show an error beside the root and restore a checkbox to its saved state.
Use with Axe
Right-click any asset card and choose Use with Axe: the asset (its identifier, path and kind) is handed to the Cyber AI chat as an "Asking about" chip, so you can type what you want without naming it. Right-click more assets to hand over several; the chip lists them. Clear the chip to drop them. Right-click an effect tab and choose Work on this with Axe to name the document Axe works in.
Chat text is selectable: drag over a reply or an error to select it, then right-click for Copy. Right-click the message field for Cut, Copy, Paste and Select all. Every text field in CyberStorm has the same menu.
Asset details
Right-click an indexed asset card or row to open Asset details. Rating, Tags, Notes and Favorite are Library metadata. They do not rewrite the particle source.
Save commits the metadata; Cancel discards the draft. Shared Undo and Redo can restore metadata changes. Open opens the asset, while particle assets also offer Create derivative and Regenerate thumbnail.
Create a derivative
In particle Asset details, choose Create derivative. Enter a different, nonempty effect identifier, review the identifier change, then choose a new file and create. Existing destination files cannot be overwritten. Canceling the file chooser keeps the dialog available for retry.
The copy opens as a separately saved particle. Subsequent edits and Save target the copy. Unknown data and texture, sound and child-effect references are retained; dependencies are not copied or renamed. The original file and its Library metadata remain unchanged.
Undo reverses the identifier edit in the opened copy; it does not delete the created file. If the source changes while the review is open, cancel and reopen the review.
Particle thumbnails
Regenerate thumbnail requests a fresh Wintersky preview for that particle and closes Asset details. It can run from List view as well as Thumbnails view. The generated preview does not replace the active particle document.
Hover an asset to see the sample time, particle count and any preview warning or error. Thumbnails sample up to four seconds and cap particles per emitter at 128; they are previews, not Minecraft playback validation.
Texture catalog
Animated sprites selects flipbook-tagged textures. Texture imports and image editing are in the Particle menu.
Use the asset details and preview to inspect a selection before adding it to your document.
