Texture pixel editor
Paint image pixels, select UV rectangles and save texture files.
Create or open
Particle > Create texture asks for a name and whole-pixel width and height from 1 to 4096. Create opens a transparent image and sets the particle texture and static UV dimensions. Cancel leaves the particle unchanged.
Particle > Edit texture opens the current image. The editor also offers New texture and Import texture. Pixel edits belong to the particle document that opened the image.
Paint and select
Color chooses the paint color; Brush px controls brush and eraser size. Brush paints, Eraser removes pixels, and Fill replaces the connected matching-color region. Pick samples a pixel into Color.
Select drags a rectangular selection. Painting, erasing and filling are clipped to it. Deselect clears that restriction. The status line shows the active tool, dimensions, selection size and whether pixels are saved.
Use + and minus to change display zoom. Zoom changes the display without changing image dimensions or pixels.
UV and history
Choose UV and drag a rectangle to update the particle static UV coordinates and texture dimensions. This edits the particle UV selection rather than cropping the image.
Undo and Redo use shared editor history for pixel edits and UV changes. Closing the editor keeps unsaved pixel edits in the application; it does not write the image file.
Save and reload
Save PNG writes the image to its PNG path or asks for a destination. Save PNG As asks for another destination. A successful save updates the texture reference for the owning particle; save the particle document to retain that reference on disk.
Canceling a save chooser leaves the image draft unchanged. Reload reads the current texture source and updates the editable pixels; Undo can restore the previous pixels. If no source is available, save or import a texture first.
Close dismisses the image editor. Use the displayed unsaved-pixels status and the particle dirty state to track which changes still need saving.
