Editing and history

Use selections, clipboard operations and Undo in the correct editor.

Choose the editing context

Cut, Copy and Paste act on a focused text field when you are typing, and Ctrl+C copies any selected page text (a chat reply, an error). Otherwise they use the active TreeLine, TimeLine or Showtime selection.

In TreeLine, select an event branch before copying, duplicating or deleting it. In Showtime, select the clips to edit.

TimeLine layers

Curve layers can be copied and duplicated as curves. Component-layer paste replaces that category after a review.

Duplicate on a component layer creates an independent linked emitter because a Bedrock emitter has one component of each type. The dialog explains what is copied before you apply it.

Undo and commands

Undo and Redo use shared editor history. Cancel in an edit dialog leaves the proposed changes unapplied.

Find command searches the current command list. Enter runs the selected result. Reset all to imported values uses the original imported particle state.
