Viewport video recording
Record the viewport and active Showtime audio to a WebM file.
Start recording
Render > Record video opens Record viewport video. Enter a whole-number Frames per second value from 1 to 60, then Start. Invalid values display an error so you can correct them. Cancel closes without keeping a recording.
Recording captures the viewport rather than the entire editor interface, with audio from active Showtime playback. The floating Video recording controls appear after startup. Opening Record video again returns to the existing recording controls.
Stop, save or discard
Stop and save stops capture and opens the save chooser. Choose the destination for the WebM file. The floating controls close after a successful save.
Canceling the save chooser retains the stopped recording. Choose Stop and save again to retry, or Discard to remove it. A canceled save does not resume capture.
Save and Discard are disabled while a recording action is pending, preventing overlapping operations. Errors appear in the recording controls; retry saving or discard when the controls become available.
Discard stops capture, removes the temporary recording and closes its controls. It does not edit the particle or show source.
